We are saddened by the passing of longtime Cobb County Scouter Bill Barber, who passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008. Bill was a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts, and a was a fixture for many years in the Colossal Cobb and Foothills District. Bill was admired by all who knew him, and he leaves behind many, many friends in the Scouting community. Visitation at the Carmichael Funeral Home will be Sunday, April 27, from 4:00-7:00 pm, and the funeral service will be at Marietta First Baptist Church, Monday, April 28, at 11:00 am.
