The National Park Service has requested that we work on a new area this ear, at the Paces Mill area on Cobb Parkway/Highway 41 and the river. This rea is south of Cumberland Mall, where Highway 41 and the river intersect.
On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Scouts from the Atlanta Area Council will assemble at the location noted above, to attack and help clean out some of the alien and very invasive plants in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Scouts will work with National Park Service personnel to identify and destroy these invasive plants.
