LOCATION:
Troop 1011 Meeting Center at Mt Bethel United Methodist Church
(No Vehicles are permitted on the access road)
COST: $7
SNACK: Please bring a snack and a drink for the break
UNIFORM: Class "A"
DETAILS:
You are expected to have read the Merit Pamphlet
A train trip is not required to complete this Merit Badge
Counselors will have model trains set up for education purposes
PREREQUISITES:
Please complete the following requirements and bring with you to the clinic. All other requirements will be complete at the clinic.
- You are expected to have read the Merit Pamphlet
- Build one model railroad car kit or one locomotive kit. Be prepared to discuss the different uses for the kits you build, i.e., tank cars - milk, syrup, chemicals, petroleum, etc.
- Locate the website of four rail historical groups - find information on each -
