Wilderness First Aid

The Atlanta Area Council Health & Safety Committee will sponsor an American Red Cross Wilderness First Aid Basic (WFAB) course March 28-30, 2008 at Bert Adams Scout Reservation in Covington, Georgia.
The 16-hour course begins with optional early-bird registration and optional overnight camping Friday evening and the class ends with graduation about 5 PM on Sunday. Participants must complete registration and be in their seats ready to learn by 8AM Saturday. Cost, including meals and manuals, is $85. The course will be held at Bert Adams Scout Camp. Camping sites will be available. The course will be taught by volunteer Scouters trained by the Metro Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a Red Cross Wilderness First Aid card good for 3 years. Participants MUST attend all sessions to receive the training card. The class is limited to 50 participants.
