Scout Recruiting Workshop
All units should make sure that someone from their unit attends.
Join us on April 14 at 8 pm on Zoom for the Foothills Recruiting Workshop to master a new three-pillar strategy for growth for Scouting units. You will leave with tools and information on new resources to secure your units’ 2026 success.
An email with the Zoom link for April 14 will be sent to your mailbox on Monday evening. Or you can request one from chair@foothillsbsa.org. Please make sure at least two individuals from your unit attend!

AGENDA:
Investments, events, and strategies engaging all of our partners, Council, and District will be at a level not seen in our area in prior years.
Among items on the agenda:
- Atlanta Area Council investing in marketing within the Foothills District
- Managing relationships with local schools – District Chair Jim Flowers will review conversations with the Chief of Staff for the Cobb County School System have outline activities to improve access to scouting for CCSD students.
- Partnerships with local libraries, recreation centers, and parks
- District-sponsored recruiting events to introduce local children to scouting activities
