New Foothills District Executive
We are excited to announce that Emma Iwan will be joining our staff as District Executive serving the Foothills District. Emma will be responsible for providing leadership in the areas of service to Foothills District Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews.
Her responsibilities include support for our youth recruiting efforts and fundraising including Friends of Scouting, the Trail’s End Popcorn sale and the Camp Card sale. One of her primary roles will be to lead the cultivation and recruitment of volunteers in the Foothills District.
Emma is from Lawrenceville, Georgia and she received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Kennesaw State University.
Please join us in welcoming Emma to the Atlanta Area Council!

The districted voted and approved two slates of individuals, first was the core district positions, the second being the official members at large, and then the district made a recommendation for our district commissioner which the council must approve.
